buy friends lease? ml50
My friend has 2003 Benz ml500 with $2000 extras ,he wants to sell. If I take over the Iease @ $750/mo.(+tax) it will end on 3/06 with $24000 remaining to purchase the car. I need a nice car and I stay with one for 4-6 years. Is this an OK deal?

Re: buy friends lease? ml50
Thank for the reply. Could you be more specific.
These bugs show up after 15000 miles? Electronic? mechanical? Not covered by warrenty? Major stuff? Thanks. |

I am an ex-finance person. I wont get into worth it or not. My caution is with the milage. I have sold many cars to people that had gone WAY over the miles on lease cars. So now they need a car they can drive. Then the lease car gets to sit while they pay the lease off. I know of more then one person that had a lease car sitting for the last 18 months of the lease
I also know one person that said screw it and drove it anyway. When they turned it back in the over mile charge was over 10k Just use your head and get ALL the facts.
