Underdrive puller just for power steering
I've done searches here and on the net. It looks like there's three types of lightweight pulleys:
crank, accessories, and power steering I think I do not want to replace wither crank or accessories because the crank seems to have a bunch of "dampening" precisely designed for the engine and chagning can cause bad wear on the engine. Don't wanna change the accessories one because that powers the electronic devices (and the power brakes?). So the only thing left is the power steering. Probably not worth the effort, eh? And probably won't give me much power back, eh? eh? ?? |

Re: Underdrive puller just for power steering
You'll be lucky to gain 1HP at the wheels. Your better off removing the entire p/steering system, exluding rack. Why do you need p/s on a little civic anyway? 1 pulley on a stock engine is more "show" than anything else.
