'84 944 f.s. in VA

Help me, bought my 944 from a guy who said the timing belt was replaced less than a year ago, he did the work himself, showed me receipts of when he bought it, had the car for about two months and the bolt holding the main pulleys came out somehow, lost belts, was able to get the engine off in time. Crank is ok, don't know about valves, but i was told they should be fine also. Don't have the money to fix.
Last two months:
-new steering rack
-alternator rebuilt
-new KYB front struts
carpet in great shape, body straight, paint needs some help, but not horrible, rear seats great, fronts need recovering, FUCH wheels, tires almost new, power windows and sunroof.
Some please make me an offer!!!!

Re: '84 944 f.s. in VA

i was orginially looking for $2500 before the engine possibly went south, i was thinking ini the $1000-1500 range for the car with all the new parts it has. I have the number of a guy who works at a Porsche dealership, who also works on 944's on the side. I am going to get him to tell me what he thinks about the engines condition, either way the car would still be for sale. Let me know, thanks for the interest
