Newbie... Something i sketched...

Hey i just found this place the other day and have been trolling around looking at everyone's drawings. I've only be sketching cars for about three weeks now. I tried doing it before but never put any work into it so they never came out even looking like cars...LOL After reading a few things on perspective, etc i decided i'd take another try at sketching cars so here's one of the car's i've done so far.
The plan was to sketch a cartoonish Ferrari Enzo with a big set of tires in the rear to make it look kind of like a drag car. It really didn't come out how i intended but i like it anyway.
I know the picture is kind of screwed up but i took the pic with a camera because my scanner is dead. I had to scew with paintshop a little to get the colors right because the pics had a really bad red tint to them and were blurry (and this was sketched on white paper).
I know the wheel and front axis' arent perfect so it looks a little "bent" but its not bad for a total newbie if i do say so myself...LOL

Here it is...

Mike

the angle is a bit off, same with the wheels. also the front is too wide. good job though

you need to closely watch your perspective. look for basic perspective tutorials and try them with basic shapes. also look at your line quality. use different line widths to bring forward, set back parts of the picture.

Re: Newbie... Something i sketched...

It's not bad but a little out of perspective if you ask me.
