I don't work on my truck generally - am I stupid for thinking it's a couple screws and maybe a couple clips holding it in place?
How hard can it be?

Re: How difficult is it to change the brake light bulb?
That's about it. It's not very hard at all. What year?

A total of 4 screws. 2 on the outer edge of the lens and 2 on the inside edge of light. Lower your tailgate to see the two inner screws. Pull assembly readward and twist light socket to get to bulbs. 10 minute job at most.
