You need to be more spefic about what you want, you are talking about really really broad subjects here with speed, racing, and drifting. First off, as far as drifting goes, 4 wheel drive is much easier to control than 2 wheel drive when drifting, and for the majority of onroad cars, easier to control in general. If you are going to go with HPI, and you want electr5ic, my vote is for the RS4, the dash kits are a joke if you want to get involved with racing or drifting. A chameleon motor is a good motor, but only if you are going to be racing in a class that has higher turn motors, like ones that are close to your 19 turn. If you want just speed or to have a really fast car at teh track, you need a lower turn motor than that 19 turn chameleon. Also, for drifitng, i dont do anything with drifting because i personally dont like touring cars as a car to own, but the o9nlything i can say you need off teh top of my head is some hard compound tires, those will help you drift.

Re: Need ur Help Guys

thanks for ur hellp
now, I'll have to choose between HPI Sprint Kits and RS4 Kits, they r both 4wd, I'll get a better motor than the Chameleon (any Recommends ??),
I need a kit that be adjusted to any state I want, as Speed, Race, Drift and so on.. !!

Again, you need to be more detailed, do you want the motor for fun, for all out speed, runtime, a good combination of those, and what batteries are you using, as that will make a huge difference in the runtime. The RS4 kits are better than the sprint the last time i looked. again, are you looking to get into any kind of racing? Ther is also more than one kind of racing, and different classes, stock modified, and in there, there are different classes of modified racing. This also depends on your area, check around the local hobby stores to see what the different classes are at teh local track. Also, do you have a transmitter?

The sprint and dash are for beginners, the RS4 isnt. Umm, before you think about racing get some good batteries, the 1600's are well, crap. First, you need to set a budget, and when you do, I can help you more. Second, get some good batteries. At least 2400's if you want to use a low turn motor, currently the best modified motors out there in my opinion are the trinity D5's. I have a D4 and I love it. As far as batteries, i would suggest NI-MH as they take more abuse the Ni-cads. Just make sure you get a good charger, dont get the cheapest one out there, youll regret it later. Also, get a good transmitter, you will regret getting a cheap one later, I know I have. Um, tell me what kind of money you have, and I can help you some more.

Re: Need ur Help Guys

about 700us$, but I can put a more if the kit i'm gonna get worth it, about the Tx I think that one is good Airtronics Radio Blazer Sport D/R 102Z & Racer ESC, Comes with Servo and speed Controller.
pro 3 chassis, maybe pro 4 if its price is reasonabe.

Get the kit first, then the transmitter, I would recomend a XR2 for a little more moeny, as it is a reasonable price and it is digital, there are other options if you are looking to spend more. Also I wouldnt get a budget ESC, be sure it can handle the kind of motor you want. And again, comes the battery issue. How much would you want to spend on the kit?

Re: Need ur Help Guys

Umm, i need to look up the names of the ESC's again, but i love the on i have in my pan car, it can handle any motor and up to 8 cells. its an LRP, its whatever their most roboust one is, i dont remember. There is another really nice one out there with alot of features, but the name eludes me, and its like almost 200..... so its not really worth it when the LRP is liek low 100.... the 959 superbrain is a great charger for the money, tehre is anotehr new superbrain that is even better for the money, teh XR2 is one of the best radios for the money, and if you want to have unlimited chanels, i would suggest teh XS3, which costs more, but you never have to buy chrystals for the transmitter, and it comes with a reciever that will synthesize freqs too.
