3.8 head gasket

i need some help on this one. i've never worked on a 3.8 or oldsmobile, but it doesn't sound like a difficult task to change the blown head gasket. i've rebuilt motor(v8's), just never a 3.8. is this a pretty straight forward task or anything special i need to know or specifics to look out for. i just want to be sure of the quirks(if any) b/4 i dig in.
thanks

Re: 3.8 head gasket

just looking over the 4 inch service manual on the 3.8 nothing real special or kinky need to be known if u did v8's this should be a breeze only thing i could recommend is that since ur rebuilding the engine get urself the rebuild kit that has all the seals/gaskets and all the other little goodies mise well change everything while u have it accessable Also make notes on the wiring sequence on the engine....Good Luck!

happy motoring
