new 318i owner - can you help
Hi,
I have recentley purchased a BMW only I cannot get the stereo to work, it seems to be stuck in phone mode. Nothing I do seems to change the mode so I cannot listen to anything. Has anyone come across this before Any advice appreciated! Thanks |

Just call your carphone from your homephone, then leave your phone sitting by a radio tuned to your favorite station, problem solved

Try resetting the stereo, those king of glitches usually go away after a reset. Make sure you know the code for the radio if it has one because you will need it after the reset.

This sounds like it will do the trick. One more question....how do I reset the stereo?

The easiest way to do it would be to pull the stereo out and unplug it for a minute or two. That resets most stereo's however be aware that if your stereo has a CODE you will need to enter that after restting to get it working again. Let me know if this works.
