Help !!!!

Hey,

I know NOTHING about cars, and even less about fixing them, but I do know what I like, and I love my 1983 280ZX.

Problem... it needs an engine swap.

Now, I found an engine, but it's for a 79-81 280ZX. Will it work in my 83? If so, will I need to get new mounts and stuff, or will it just drop right in?

If you guys could give me some help, I'd appreciate it.

im pretty sure it should just drop right in. someone correct me if im wrong.

what happened to your current engine? and is it turbo?

best thing to do is to take off and swap the intake manifolds.. as far as the head and block goes you shouldnt have a problem with them...
