Wing and performance

I was thinking on putting a huge wing (Wings West Commando style) on my EK4 VtiR (hatch). I know that’s pretty ricey, but I just love that thing and since my car is otherwise very JDM one wing isn’t too much.

Now I wonder how it will affect performance. Will it noticeably slow my car down? Will it get very noisy while driving?

And will it be possible to take it off at a later date (it’s going to be screwed on + M3 tape)?

i dont think you will be able to tell a difference in performance at all whether it slows you down or speeds you up, it would prolly just be an exterior mod just to show cause our cars really dont go fast enough to be able to need a wing, But i would go ahead and do it cause i think it would look tight

whats wrong with my kit and my lights, i also have a skyline style wing on it now to, do you have a problem with it or somethin, i like it and thats all that matters.

I'm not hating on it...I've always liked the Feels...I still do. I just like the R34 better now. Only thing against your car would be the tezzas but you like it and like you said that's all that matters

alright, thats cool then, do you have the r34 kit on yours yet, if you do, do you have a pic of it

nah I'm getting it sometime in like March or April probably...gettting exhaust first but Ive been working on my interior first

I could go alot faster if itd heat up a lil bit...so I can paint more

After I graduate in May my car will start getting done much faster because I'll be able to work full time instead of 1-5.

Do you like the R34 on 6th gens?

dont get a wing. it will slow you down and unless you plan on running circuit races, wings on FWD cars have nothing but negative results. it could slow you down 2/10 or more in the quarter mile.

wouldnt it depend on the angle of the wing

a small wing wouldnt really impact anything, but hes talking about a big one.

I don't want a wing on my car - the only exterior work I want with my car is an R34 or C-West front bumper with the invader (I think it's the invader side skirts - the ones that the guy with the white accord that wanted everyone to rate his ride has on his sides) and a rear skirt that's got two muffler openings - don't really know which one I should go after since there are like three like this.

As far as my interior goes - I want to remove my dash, have it sprayed down with Rhino Linings truck bed lining (it will never crack) - then sanded smooth, and painted either White or Blue.
