carb vaccum hoses removal?

is it possible to succesfully remove all of the superfluous vaccum hoses and only have fuel lines and gas tank vapor lines to the 88 b2200 carb? if so is there a timing change other than stock 6 degrees over top dead center? thanx Raul

I removed all vaccum lines and vapour lines, and un plugged some of the carb sensors..noticed better bottom end and idles better. Did'nt change the timing.
