Roof Rack & Sunroof

We are looking into a new car purchase and really like the RSX Type-S. However, we need to be able to install a roof rack on it for a surfboard (8' 6"). I know Yakima makes a rack system for the RSX. However, I am still not sure if it will interfere with the sunroof. I realize the sunroof could not be opened while a surfboard was on the rack. However, I need to know if the standard rack with crossbars (no other accessories) would interfere with the sunroof. Has anyone installed a roof rack on an RSX? Thanks in advance for the help.
