Stock spoiler question
My 97 Anniversary Edition teg has a stock spoiler on it. Does it actually do anything? I mean, does it actually provide enough downforce to make a difference during driving? Thanks for any input, Gurgus.

Re: Stock spoiler question
No, not really it is just cosmetic.

Re: Stock spoiler question
I read a comment once on another forum from a physics enthusiast. He basically said that most commercial car spoilers are only effective at speeds of 150 or higher. He also mentioned the fact that wing type spoliers, naturally, created more downforce at these speeds than low spoilers such as the stock Teg design.

How about the ones like on my buddy's Volkswagen Corrado? It moves up and down automatically at different speeds. I figured mine was only good for rolling on anyways.

Re: Stock spoiler question
Some compaines actually tested and designed thier spoilers to be functional but Acura did not , nor do most companies, except for thier more top of the line models ie: NSX, Corvette, all ferrari's etc

Re: Stock spoiler question
Ilike the looks of the teggy spoiler but like somebody only mentioned it's only effective over 150 mph. And plus the FWD spoiler is to reduce drag on the rear bumper and not to create downforce on the rear...
