00 gts questions

hey guys im new to the site. i just baought a 00 gts and i want to know if i/h/e would improve it or make the 0-60 slower.i read in "Turbo" that because of exhaust setup some exhaust systems might cause a little lag in the beginning.

also if anybody has any shifting advice or any relative news on the celica please feel free to comment...

actually...it will be a little gain....maybe tenths of a second or so.....wont be a huge increase

not huge, but will still add up.

A good, free flowing exhuast from the headers back will always add some HP.

You might lose a little velocity down low. Have you read any reviews of different exhuast brands on your GTS?

What color, any pics?

i have a silver 6-speed


i read that kakimoto exhaust had the best exhaust upgrade but personally i like greddy

For best gains, go Trial headder (20hp), TRD exhaust (15-20hp) and either RD Injen or AEM v2 intake (14hp). This will cost you retail around $2000, but well worth it, plus you can find deals all over the net for this stuff. You will be slower off the line, but the way the 2zz is set up, not alot u can do about it.
