Good Idea, a Buick Christmas Party!

remember, as much alcohol as you can handle, unless your underage of course.

To quote the waterboy: "I'll have a scotch and water, hold the scotch."

Re: Happy Holidays Buick Brethren!!!!!!!!

You too Flatrater, its been quite a year here at the forums.

I remember when I came here, I was looking for a buick forum. The forum had NO traffic whatsoever, and threads were in all the wrong forums. I talked to Igor one day about the sad state of the forum, and was promoted to moderator. I cleaned up, and with flatrater's help, added the keyless entry posts in each forum. Now, the forums are very active IMO, and I like to think I was a big part of that.

Re: Re: Happy Holidays Buick Brethren!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas all!!!

I love my 94 Buick Regal. My only beef with GM is that the plastic parts often break. This car though has been relativley durable.
My inlaws have brought the beat up 1992 Olds Trofeo down to Florida, so I will try to restore the car. I believe that this car will be a collector in the future.
My last car is the Honda s2000, sorry this car is awesome and to those who say that it doesn't have a high comfort level. It's a sports car, not a sedan. When I v-teched it for the first time, it scared the hell out of me. it turned from a honda civic into a formula one race car.

My wish is for a retro Firebird or Camaro, but this time iI would like to see the 2 cars not share so many parts, more individualized.

Bring back a retro Buick Rivi!!! I love the boattails, Ive owned a 71 and a 73.

and they should Spin Olds off a a specialty Company. I thought the Aurora was an awesome in looks and style

Hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Good New Year.
I have a 1987 Buick Regal Turbo (Light Blue Metallic). I bought it brand new on 12/13/1986. It has since had some work done to it. It has a TE-54 Turbo, DeQuick I/C, Rad and fan kit, Champion iron heads, ATR headers and down pipe plus strengthened drive train parts (tranny on back). It ran a best of 11.04 @ 119.75 with a best mph of 122. It ran out of fuel with MSD 50's and blew a head gasket. I've got the parts to fix the fuel problem (55's and dual Red Armstrong pumps, and his modified computer), but haven't put them on yet. Pix are at www.franzcars.com under Blue Guy.

Sweet car, yours is kinda bulit like mine except the headers and champion heads. I also have a set of MSD 55's ready to put in my car. Im going with a super extender chip and a Translator plus for my setup. It seems the best for my budget. My uncle has it on his Turbo Transam along with the ATR liquid intercooler ( the olderone with the more efficient core.) TE-63, 70# injectors aeromotive fuel pump. He runs an all stock block never been opend up, stock unported heads and intake. He usually runs high 10's (10.89-10.93 usually). Do you ever go to the nationals in bowling green?

The heads can make a bid difference in these cars. Mines gone a best of 11.04 @ 119.75 (best mph is 122) and hasn't had that much tuning done to it. The tuning can also make a big difference. I'm using Red chips in there. I also got one from Jay Carter which is what the high MPH run was done on.

I've been to Bowling Green quite a few times. I'm the Director of our local GSCA Chapter. I founded it right after going to the '92 Nats. I've never raced my car, tho.
