Selling a 92 Lumina Z34...

First off, here are the pics... It is in very good shape as you will see...

http://www.cs.rit.edu/~glr7495/z34/z34.html

The mileage is slightly higher now, ~90k...

The timing belt was replaced at about 60k miles...the alternator was changed at about 80k miles...

I am looking to sell for $3000 o.b.o, or trade for an equivalently priced 4th generation v6 Camaro, as long as it runs strong and is reliable. I would also be happy to consider a trade for a 4X4 pickup or SUV that is also reliable and runs well.

This Z34 runs very strong, has a 210hp dual twin cam engine and a A4-OD transmission. It has great paint that shines bright, a fairly clean engine bay, and a nice sporty look. It is FWD, has 4-Wheel ABS discs, pw, pl, ps, pb.

Now for the bad part. The passenger rear brake has been rattling off and on for quite some time now. We have changed both rotors and pads and the rattling continues. It doesn't seem like the rotors are warped, since there is no wobble under braking, but when you are not braking, there is this, "thud thud thud thud thud" as you go down the road. Sometimes it's louds, sometimes you can hardly hear it. I think I just need to swap a new set of calipers on it, (approx. $50), that I just haven't got to yet since the snow came. The e-brakes, "brake" light is on, and I'm not sure why, but it always stays on. I think that the e-brake sensor is fugged up, since you can tell the brakes are not sticking, and the e-brake is released. Who knows. In the pics, you can see the slight touch up of black paint that is needed on the cowl, the tiny dent on the hood, and the small stain on the passenger seat. Other than that, I don't think thete is anything wrong with the vehicle at all. Test drives are welcome of course.

I'm selling the car for a couple reasons.

1. I already have a fast car, and while this one is quite fast, it's not nearly fast enough to beat the Z. Therefore, I'm thinkin bout gettin a 4X4 to haul stuff and drive in the snow.

2. I would take an v6 F-body, since I want RWD.

3. I wouldn't mind having a m5 or m6 to play around with as my DD.

If interested, email me at [email protected]...
