I like hatches better since I can haul more stuff and if I ever decided to put a decent system in then hatches own coupes for bass response in the cabin and general quality of the audio. To each his own I guess.

Cars.com sucks...they have less cars listed then what I can find driving around. I look for pretty much any car I have any remote interest in and they either have like one...or none. Autotrader.com is the best I've seen so far. Ebaymotors.com is also pretty good and so isn't Autoweb.com.

A 240sx around her sold for nearly 10 (9,925) and it was auto with only 2k less miles...though it was in perfect condition (not a single problem with interior or exterior...no buff marks or worn bolsters) and the rare blue/green color...hers apparently had a bit more problems as I saw from posts after it was sold.

It was probably at a dealership too. I'm sure I could have gotten a little bit more out of my car if I was patient, but I sold the car in a week to the first guy that looked at it. I got a ton of emails on it but they were all trying to jew me down and offered about 8K with stock wheels. The guy that bought it was around 18, when he test drove it he barely got on it so I had to show him how to actually drive it, and he didnt really test everything out to see if it worked. I still get emails from him asking why certian things dont work...

That it was...it sold pretty quick though...original price on it was 10,800 and then finally they brought the price down to 9,900. A week after the price drop it was gone. Lots of people were checking it out (including me ...shoulda tried to get a test drive since I knew the guy, but I didn't know him that well at the time).

Anyone know any good mechanic places in queens? Or any of manhattan?

Oh and I found a 91 that needs a new clutch for 1k and it's near me...WOOT

So you know the car sold for $9,900? Because if thats what they dropped the price to, someone might have jewed them down a little. I'd never pay what a dealership was asking. And if anyone does, they are dumbasses.

I'm actually considering that one and a blue/green one that is for $5500. The $1000 dollar one I'm checking out the next time I have two days off in a row. A trip to Pensylvania is also planned to check out the $5500 dollar car. Maybe I will try and check out the red one while I'm at it.

There is also a red 91 mr2 turbo for $4000 near me...so I've got some decisions to make .

hmm yeah usually i'm very skeptical of buying things from dealers. I bought my 240sx off of a dealer, they gave me a kick-ass price that i slower than blue book value and can not be talked down. I still tried since the rotors were thin, so they were nice and gave me $150 off.
