Foglight Rewire Question

After doing the rewiring, can u still manually turn off and on only the fog light, even with the parking lights on. I would like to turn them off at times without running them all the time. Thanks.

Is it possible to have the fogs on just by themeselves? (No parking light) I would like to drive with them on during the day but don't want my parking lights running too.

It would be possible.

The wire from the fog light relay which you snip and connect to the parking light would instead have to be connected to a switched power source (ie off your fuse block somewhere)

I think it looks better with the parking lights + fogs rather than just fogs. it looks bad ass coming down the road with that, especially if you get PIAA's, like platinum superwhites or plasmas for both the fogs and parking lights.

two questions...it didn't say what gauge wire I needed to do the mod? Does it matter? And second...what is the model number for the piaa's for the parking lights?

Wire guage - use 14 or 16 gauge.

Parking lights bulb is No. 168

I used 14, with a black insulator around it, so you cant notice the wiring when you open up the hood. its cool

Yup!

I guess I should add that in when I finally get around to submitting them to Jason to put on G20.net
