6 x 9's in a rex?
I am looking to replace my whole system in my 88 CRX and looking at the stock rear speaker, it looks like I might be able to fit a pair of 6 x 9's instead of just 6-1/2's back there.
Does anyone know for sure if i can, if so do you have pics? I looked through sounddomain.com and couldn't find it. Here's a pic of the speaker area that i'm taliking about:

don't put rear speakers there ! they will be closer to you than your front speakers, and will make your stereo sound like crap

Yea.. speakers being that close together, you wont enjoy richness in your music. You'll lose certain frequencies, and your music wont sound too hot. Just keep it within stock specs. It's designed that way for a purpose ^_^ Trunk space and such...
