Unhappy RADIO RECEPTION ON 525i V.POOR

Hi folks, I am looking for help with my 89, 525i's audio system!

My car doesn't have an external aerial and all of a sudden I can't get any radio reception. Have checked manuals for help but they only refer to external / power aerials???? Does any-one know if there is a fuse/ relay or other that hasn't been included in the workshop manuals that I could check out to solve this annoying problem?

I have a 1994 525tds. According to a 'Component location chart' a friend of mine produced, on this model the rear window element acts as the antenna with an amplifier 'in the top of the left-hand C-post'. Good luck.
