Re: Silver and Blue Subaru Sti

It looks fantastic. : Too bad about the two-tone work, but I can sympathize...

One thing for you to go check out... The taillight parts fit into place better if you put the outside edges in first then push in the flat part against the back of the trunk lid. It looks like yours were installed vice-versa so the side edges aren't seated all the way... And be very carefull of the paint, because they're a tight fit. But, if you've already glued them in place, then just a note for next time.

Re: Silver and Blue Subaru Sti

Looking good mate! IMHO, I'd gone with another interior colour instead of the tan/cream colour you've used.

gonna order me a few more of these kits i think, i wonder how interchangeable bits are between the 01 imprezza wrc car and this road version????? could make for an interesting street conversion.

You interested? I have been working on and off on 2 imprezas both based on 01 subaru WRCar to turn them into street cars. I could snap a few phots if you wish, just thought it would be nice to ask first before others think I was about to hijack your thread.

Ok so here it goes, both cars unfinished, so plz dun ask me why I didnt do this I didnt do that

car1: WRCar body with street hood and bumper, all holes/pins removed, drilled trunk keyholes and hand-scribed fuel door, full street interior (including rear seat and center console removed from the tub of street car) placed on WRCar chasis. And superdetailed.

car2: WRCar body with street bumper to create a widy-body WRX form, the idea is create a car that races in production car group 1 so body mod was extensive, huge and unrealisitic front lip, front wheel arch extended and rear lip. GT-wing to be placed later. Body sits on WRCar chasis with part of the rollcage and a converted LHD dashboard (not shown here)

Hope it inspiries you.
