Re: I got a new MR2

that sucks, but I've had that happen to me before, actually I've thrown away good straight trees I coulda used for exhaust not thinking I needed them, and now I do.

Re: I got a new MR2

exhaust, I use the mildly fat ones, they replicate 2 and 3/4 inch exhaust pipe, and when you go straight from a header/turbo to the mufler, depending on bends, I like them straight as possible to utilize maximum exhaust flow for more power.

Re: I got a new MR2

it's really quite easy to do, might I suggest if it's your first time, find some 12 gauge sheathed wire about 4'' longer than the actual car and bend it to fit, then trim it. That way you don't melt through the plastic trees ( i did that so many times I ruined them). It takes time to develop your know-when the plastic has been heated enough to work with it.

The only thing I did was make my own wire. like from my 'boost gauge' and my ''attack meter''....

Re: I got a new MR2

I'm not talking about the wire you used for that, check out the HOW TO: Scratchbuild Headers, I did it and list the basic materials you need to make tight bends and stuff like that for it, including the wire, good luck.
