Well,it's an improvement Pick, but please, pick up a dictionary and look up the word 'fact'.Most of what you have posted is speculation, assertion, opinion, just like Cbass. If you can't spot the difference, please stop using it as an argument against Cbass, you are making yourself look like a proper weenie.

Oh where to start, this is so entertaining

I'll start with Yogi, since he at least knows what he's talking about

Wrong!

Pick was a bit off in calling CBass’ post speculative. It was factually incorrect as well as idle speculation.

If nothing good can be said about Bush in any way at any time, it's because there is nothing good to say about a man who has crippled the US economy,

The economy is not crippled. I see no evidence presented that it is.
The US economy was kept shored up by the tech bubble, and by Clinton looting social security to balance his budgets. With a massive budget shortfall and trade deficit, Gee Dubya gave a huge tax cut to the rich, and started making deep budget cuts to social programs. Social programs that largely middle class and poor people rely on... This is not speculation, these are facts, you know, Pick, the things that are can be demonstrated as true, I'd understand if you're not familiar with them

Now some basic speculation here, which I'm sure most economists would agree is sound logic. Now IF Dubyas trillion + dollar tax cuts somehow don't manage to revitalize the economy, and instead find their way to more profitable offshore investsments, which they undoubtably will, consumer spending is going to drop like a stone. More people out of work, less money being spent, a vicious circle.

This constitutes crippling the economy, in my humble opinion.

sent hundreds of thousands of US citizens to foreign nations to be shot at and blown up over his neo-conservative ideals and insatiable lust for oil

Does anyone actually believe that Bush would want hundreds of thousands of people to be shot an blown up? That’s as believable as thinking every Muslim would like every Jew skewered.
If he didn't want that, then why did he send them there? Oh, I forgot, love of oil, a strong foothold in the middle east, and making an example of Iraq for switching to the Euro... Oops, there I go speculating again... Why did he invade Iraq again? Oh yeah! The weapons of mass destruction... Which are where? I thought he had solid proof, sattelite photos, dozens of weapons factories... Oh, how foolish of me, I didn't realize that the retreating and dispersing Iraqi army could orchestrate a masterpiece of a cover up, and shuttle the dirty goods off to other countries without the US realizing it... Once again, my oversight is terrible.

lied to the American public time and time again

No facts listed here. Just some of that speculation.
WMD WMD WMD WMD WMD WMD. Solid proof, remember? Oh, right, that was failure of military intelligence... Not like Georgie was chomping at the bit to invade Iraq, and foisting off every excuse on the American public he could...

bullied the rest of the world, attempted to undermine the United Nations

Which is long overdue. Leaving the United Nations and letting that ineffective corrupt organization wither away would be the proper course of action.
Your opinion Yogs, and explain to me their corruption? I think they've been pretty effective, until they locked horns with the Bush administration, who weren't going to pay attention to anyone anyways...

which is representative of ALL NATIONS, not just the US and France, supported the brutal apartheid regime of Arial Sharon

Apartheid regime? I don’t see any facts here either. More speculation.
Ok, how many of the Palestinians who are being brutalized are citizens of Israel who get to elect the government of the country that governs them? These are people being ethnically targeted and brutalized by Israel... Smacks of apartheid to me.

and on top of all that, he wasn't even elected by the American people.

He was elected by the American people. At what time did someone else win the election? http://www.archives.gov/federal_reg...l</font></font>
George W. Bush and Richard Cheney received 271 Electoral Votes
Albert Gore, Jr. and Joseph Lieberman received 266 Electoral Votes
The people who don’t think he won the election are not speculating – they are either delusional or outright lying.
He was elected by the Electoral College, after the recount effort was halted by the Supreme Court...

Tell me something, are we really supposed to buy that the faulty ballots were only that faulty in the largely black and hispanic parts of Florida that vote overwhelmingly Democratic, and the almost entirely democratic voters who were barred from voting because their names were *similar* to convicts?

All in a state run by his brother, for god's sake. You'd think his brother would want to make sure the whole thing didn't come off as a scam, and would try to make it smooth running...

Now as for Pick, it seems that you didn't actually manage to make one factual statement, and instead just prattled off increasingly agitated and inflammatory opinions, and in true hypocritical fashion, the "party line" rhetoric of the extreme right wing.

So I don't really have anything I can respond to that with, since it would just be reflected by another wave of even more intense rhetoric and even less intelligent opinions, if that can be imagined.

I stated facts....I don't know where you got that I didn't. I stated facts where I thought that speculation was inappropriate, where as to you, speculation seems to be the main source of your arguments . And you didn't respond to my post in a least bit intelligent way. Continue your personal attacks, it shows your inferiority.

Hmmmm.......calling the opposition stupid.....an obvious, ineffective rhetoric of the extreme left wing. Give me a break. You can act like you know what you are talking about all you want. That doesn't change reality.

Ok, what were your facts that you stated?

If I didn't respond to your post in an intelligent manner, it's because there is no intelligent way to respond to it, save maybe ignoring it.

I never called you stupid, either, or made personal attacks on you, I commented on your posts. I never stated that you were stupid, even if it is my opinion, and the opinion of many others who browse this forum I didn't have to, you made a pretty good case in this thread.

Labeling me an extreme left winger? Hardly, I'm a little left of centre, perhaps, but if my politics are anything, they are National Socialist, circa 1930s Germany. Think that's left wing? Just because I don't believe in unregulated and unfettered capitalism doesn't make me a communist. You might find this hard to believe, but the lefties in the US, the democrats, would be considered right wing in Canada, and we're a right of centre country, when compared to the rest of the western world.

You don't make any points in your posts. You don't offer any facts. You make the same statements over and over again, in an increasingly inflammatory manner. I'm done with this particular discussion, because I don't wish to escalate this anymore than it has been already.

The Quotes you stated that Bush said are fact. NBC News and ABC News both ran film footage of the reporters on Airforce 1 on 9-11 ( the 2 most liberal news channels.) And they showed Bush stating that on Airforce 1. So the film maker did not make the quotes up.
