240z Sc

OK people here comes a killer swap for the 240Z. I have a 73 240Z that I spent many years looking for. It has taken me along time but I have my true RUST FREE shell. Now I was going with the 350 set up but today I just made a killer find and it will be one bad azz one of a kind 240Z.
I just bought a low mile 1993 ford thunderbird SC. The t-bird took a hard hit up front but its all body damage. Now I have a supercharged 3.8 with the 5 speed for my Z
Just over half the lbs of the 5.0 V8 with around the same (allitle better) HP\TQ #s then the 5.0 V8 (Stock 5.0 that is)
I know it will make a t-bird FLY and thats one HEAVY car. Think about it in a 2000 lbs 240Z

Not going with it Went to the bone yard lifted the hood and the blower is BAD . I called ford and they said ford can no longer get parts for the SC blowers AT ALL . The parts guy gave me the # for Eaton super chargers,so I call them. Eaton says they can and would rebuild it for only $1500.

You're either lying or very dumb to belive the dude if he told you 1500 bucks. You can get the blower totally rebuilt, reclearanced and teflon'ed for maybe 400 bucks at any good blower shop. For 1500 bucks you could go to something huge like a 2.2L autorotor twin screw and really wake that motor up.

Never saw this reply anyway that was the info I was given from eaton Eaton super chargers
So where is this that will rebulid that charger for 400 ? The bearings are gone case is busted and who know what else. Eaton says they no longer make them so parts are through the roof and they no longer cast that case.
