Is it possible to adjust Fuel Gauge?

96 Caravan 2.4. Gauge on E with over 7 gallons left in tank. I am wondering if the mechanism that senses the fuel level can be adjusted.

Re: Is it possible to adjust Fuel Gauge?

i dont think so, i think there might be something wrong with your gage, the wiring, or the actual gas works that are in the gas tank(meaning the fuel pump i think). or you can replace the whole dask unit that tells you your gas, speed, and temp, i mean i think you can go to a junk yard and try a used one, if it works buy it if it dont dont buy it, iv done that before. but thats just my opinion and a guess.

Re: Is it possible to adjust Fuel Gauge?

Hey, it's the guage or the low fuel hose at the bottom of the tank that has disconected from the fuel pump. Good luck.
