Re: Bassani or MAC

aight man im sorry. and thats all i no bout the GT-S.
and mendari thats so ignorant u no damn well imports make hundreds of hp all the time. u forget import tuning has only been in this country for less than 10 yrs. ppl have been succesfully tuning stangs since the 60's. im not tryin to cause trouble but there are many American ppl wit imports over 1000hp. and remember u have the extra 2 to 4 cylinders. thats all i gotta say.

i'm sure that you are right, but i'd like to see evidence of a streetable 1000 hp 4 cylinder and i'm too busy to look it up myself.

there arent 2 many 4 bangers over 1g's but there are plenty for straight 6's and rotaries over that.

Ignorant? I think not. Regardless, if the engine is making 1000hp then these professionals don't fret over 2 hp. At the amateur level, cost per horsepower is very important. That's why I don't understand threads that drag on and on regarding cold air intakes and mufflers. Buy it, bolt it on, and drive. Let's not turn this issue into a "Taste's Great", "Less Filling" grudge match.

Besides, I never said anything about imports.
Does someone have a chip on their shoulder?

Re: Bassani or MAC

i dont have a million dollars to spend on my car. so i want to buy quality parts regardless of how much hp. im buying a trusted part that makes power. im not just gonna put ne old thing on my car, just cuz it doesnt add that much power.

Yeah me too Ok, i believe you can go to any exhuast/performance store and they could tell you what would be best for the mustang. They would prolly know what kind of sound the exhuast would produce too.
P.S.-I dont think they would make the noises for ya but i'm sure a description would do just fine. lol
