I took my I30 in to a 'specialty' brake shop and got new pads installed and they have been squeeling ever since. I took it back once and insisted on ceramic pads but that hasn't stopped the squeeling. The mechanic there says every time there is no problem but the squeel is very noticeable. Is there a specific kind of pads to be installed on the I30? Any advise would be appreciated.

Re: 98 I30 brake pads squeeling
I have the same "problem".
I've been told that only original OEM Nissan factory rotors+pads will resolve this. |

Thanks. I have recently removed the pads that were put on the first time by the brake shop and installed Nissan OEM pads.........it did the trick! FYI for anyone else getting new brake pads, demand original parts!
