Question 300zx or r32gtr?

i own a 300zx tt 91 manual with aftermarket exhaust/ clutch n i just wondering which ends out the better car in the end they both have expensive insurance n parts but the gtr kicks arse in speed n 1/4 and the 300zx looks so damn mean and can sure pull faces n chicks but what wins in the end speed or looks tell me what yaz all think

hmm, this is deffinately a hard choice, because for one, you would own a skyline, but true, i think the Z looks better then the r32, but the skylines have a better motor potential, so its a trade off, i thankfully wont have to worry about making such a dicision

If tou are talking a real r32 gtr. I would go the gtr, as the chassis potential is way ahead of the Z. Also in Oz & Japan there are a number of RB26dett's running over 1000hp with no issues. With the vg30dett, you will get head & heat issues, when trying to approach the 600hp mark, without spending big money. The bottom end of the rb engines are the stronger of the two.

Z's are a great looker, but on the track is where it counts & the gtr simply sizzles the z's, rx7's top line corvette's & non turbo Porches. Just look where both vehicles are raced, eg Japan & the overwhemelming majority ALWAYS use the gtr.

The Z's under pressure eat out front tyres via their heavy tendancy to understeer. A gtr can be driven either with understeer/oversteer at the flick of your wrist.

A standard r32 in the hands of Oz motoring & Jap Jornalists has pulled a 12.7Best out of the crate on a warm day!. The best I have seen on a stock z is 14.1.

Simple Mate.

Re: 300zx or r32gtr?

i much rather have the skyline because for one, you would be one of few with a skyline, and two, you can do more to a skyline.
