i have a 95 taco, 3.4L v6, and was wondering if anyone know any info about supercharging it. I have seen them in performanceproducts catalogs a while ago, but now when i have the money i have now idea who is sellling them now. i just see them for the 2.4 and 2.7L tacos. so if you know where to get one, or any info that would help me out that be sweet.

Do an internet search for " trd supercharger" and you will find like 1,000 places that sell them. Make sure to get the Generation 2 model, its much better. You should be able to find one from $2,300-$2700 most any place on the net.

The ECU in the 1995 Tacoma's are not compatible with the superchargers.
They for some reason can not deal with the added boost and cause a huge surging problem when you punch it. Some places claim to be able to re-program you ECU to work with the 95's but save your money. You'll just be out another 200-300 bucks and still have a bucking mess on your hands. Sorry for the bad news. |

Re: 95 superchargers?
Hope this helps you. Just researched this subject. go to gadgetonline.com He covers a supercharger installation for a V-6 4runner. He covers everything you need to know(problems and etc.) and where to get it. And what you're going to spend. good luck.
