Subaru 2002 "555"

Hello all,
here the Subaru Impreza WRC 2002 in the Monte Carlo Presentation version. The kit is of Tamiya and the Decals from Studio27.

Another in a series of fabulous Subarus built by you, Kurtl. Have you any plans yet to kitbash a 2003 version? Would be quite a big job.

Great work! What are the tobacco regulations in Monte Carlo then? They can present a car with them but they can't race a car with them? It doesn't make sense to me.

The reason they don't actually run the stages with the tobacco advertising is because the stages of the Monte Carlo rally take place in France where tobacco advertising is banned.
The rally base area itself though is in the city of Monte Carlo which is in the principality of Monaco, an independant state which has different laws regarding this to the rest of France and which is why you see the cars with their full tobacco sponsors displayed during the starting ceremonies for the rally.
