China's been a jerk lately. I'm for it, Taiwan should seperate, they don't need China to drag them down, beside they're not actually really part of China anyway.

Can't see it becoming a world war.There's not much financial or tactical interest in joining in a war between a country that has the potential to become a super-power,and a small island that isn't recognised as an independant state by most of its neighbours.

It's a sad state of affairs, but Taiwan will never be independent. No one thinks 'freeing' Taiwan is worth fighting China. And if Taiwan goes it alone, they will be utterly destroyed.

yea thats just me writing incomplete sentences

supposed bush descided to go for Syria and Iran, then N Korea went back to war with S Korea and then took on Japan for good measure
and then You have that whole India and Pakistan thing flair up, and then Israel takes on Palestine whilst Egypt gets pissed off too, then Russia gets involved in kaszakstan again, after that China starts it of with Taiwan

Close enough not very likely and i'm exaggerating again but on the whole China is a bit too aggressive in trying to get back what it calls their land.

I am not sure on this but didn't GWB threaten War with china if they ever invaded Taiwan I don't remember for sure but I thought he said that at one point, anyone have any info on that?
