Yeah, fortunately. The paint jobs in GT make the cars look like stockcars. The paint jobs in NFSU make the cars look like piles of crap.

Not true, not everyone that modifies or fixes up cars wants it to look F & F. True, most of them do (especially the damn wanna-be's), but most of the true car enthusiasts don't. I, for one, have been into cars, modifying and such long before F & F, and I sure as hell don't want may car to look like an F & F pile of crap. I think I'd have to kick my own ass if I ever put a huge ass wing and that much chrome on a car, lol. However, we all the know wanna-be's are out there in great numbers right now, and that's who the market seems to be catering to. I agree though, it will change eventually in the future. The more it goes down that F & F road, the more people get sick of it. Hopefully, that will eventually lead to a reversal of trends in games, movies, and marketing.

I was being sarcastic I wasn't serious that everyone wants to be like F&F. I don't either. I too consider myself an enthusiasts and don't like the abundance of- for lack of a better word- "ricers" that make us seem like a joke. Sorry for the mix-up.

Oh, no appolgy need, lol. I knew what you men. Still, it provided a certain truth. No, not all who fix up cars like that crap, the enthusiasts don't. But the over abundance of wanna-be's clogs up everything, and most of them are, for lack of a better word, "ricers." That's all the industry sees, they ignore the real enthusiasts like you and me. As you said, then some people think we are a joke, and pigion-hole us incorrectly into that crowd. And as I am sure you are well aware, it gets annoying. Then games like this came out, and F & F movies and crap, and all the little wanna-be's go and buy a wing, fart can, etc, and "dress their car for the 9's when it can't break out of the 17's." I figured you were being sarcastic, but it provided a good chance to expand on the industry stereotype that "we all like F & F, big wings and nasty kits." It was a sarcastic point I decieded to expand on. I should have worded my response clearer, lol.
