Hurst Short Shifter?
I was just wondering how many of you are using this shifter? I found it in JC Whitney S.C. for $50 but it doesn't come with bushings, bearings, or a base plate. Is it okay to use this stuff from my car since it only has 42,000 original miles on it?

Re: Hurst Short Shifter?
I have the Hurst & it works fine - I did install the bushings for $10 - well worth the $$$$
Why wouldn't it be ok to use? I would install a short shifter with only 1,000 miles |

Re: Re: Hurst Short Shifter?
My bad I thought you meant stabalizer bushings - get some poly ES or Prothane!
Yes it should be fine to use, just transfer everything over. Make sure to lube well & keep clean during the process. |
