A CARB apporved part will have a CARB EO (Exempt Order) number. Besides AEM, several companies feature CARB exmept products. DC Sports intakes and headers are CARB exempt. As you said, AEM is CARB Exempt. Greddy products (and their turbo systems) are also CARB exempt. I beilive Jackson Racinf Superchargers are too. Also, I beilive Chikara Headers are CARB exempt, as they claim "50-state legal." Catco Cayalytic convertors are CARB exempt. I can't think of any more, but I know they are out there. If a product is CARB exempt, it will usually say so and have the EO number on it, I beilive. If you are worried, look for the EO number on the product of packaged with it before you buy it. If you can't find the EO number, chances are there is none, or the pollution control people will have problems finding it.
Also, yes, they still make ICEMAN intakes (Summit Sport Compact sells them). I do not know off the top of my head if they are CARB exempt. The Summit Sport Compact Catolog would say, or if you call them they will know.
