You only say Neons are gay because you don't like the way they look. The motors are rock solid and take painful amounts of abuse, and the manual trannys are unbreakable. I have driven quite a few compacts and the Neon is by far the most fun to drive. They're cheap, tough, and fast. Rent a manual DOHC Neon for a day and drive it like you hate it, I garantee you'll love it.

but they obviously drove it like they hated and they destroyed it!!! but i don't really have anything against a fast neon w/ a good body kit, but other than that they look like a girl car, but idk, maybe that just me.

They sure did, and look how much abuse it took. Not many four cylinders would last even that long under the abuse they gave the Neon.
