I work at a Shaws supermarket!

I'll have my Associates this spring, then... more school maybe? I don't know. It's all really depressing if you aren't sure what you want to do. It's an interesting little situation I've come across in my researching future possibilities: There are SO MANY books written on dealing with the teen years, midlife crisis, retirement, etc. But there is a surprising void in the material about what is probably the TOUGHEST time in a person's life- the Twenties. At 22, I (like many here, I'm sure) am staring down the deep, dark well of what to make of the next 50 years of my "professional" life. I have neither the simplicity and protection of the grade school years, nor the wisdom and experience of the older years to aid me. I know, somehow, things usually tend to "pan out" in some way, but I'm still nervous nonetheless. And what does "panning out" mean for me? Of course I want to marry, and have children and whatnot, but I also want to have the ability to pursue my dreams.

The goal is not to have one, and "make due" with the other, the goal is to have both. I'm not above thinking compromises (might) have to be made, but to what degree

Both wrong. People come in and beg me for stuff for their trucks/cars. Or call me.

I do drink coffee though :S

And run up and down stairs a lot

i go to a small college in california where there are tons of rich kids. last year my roomate and i started a company where we pick up their laundry and we take it to a place that washes and folds it and we bring it back. These idiot students are charged 15 bucks a bag - you could do yourself on campus for 2.50. horray for rich kids; they are funding my extracurricular activities, my frisbee team and my vehicle!
