91 Civic LX R.I.P.
About a week ago, i got a custom exhaust put on my car, and i had to work when the shop finished it, so i had my dad go pick it up, and on his way home, a woman in a 01 Accord side swiped him, and not my car's completly totaled
the good news is, that this weekend im gettin a 97 CX Hatch, completly stock, with ok wheels (14'' pacer 5-spoke alloys) and 105K miles, for only 5500$...it's a auto but im probably gonna swap in a ZC...so i'll give you guys plenty of updates...Rest In Piece(s), Clif

Sucks your sedan got totaled, but the Cx should be a sweet ride. I would definately swap in a B series though, cause I don't think a ZC will be all that fast in a 6th gen.

yeah, im thinking either ZC or b16..possibly b18...im just takin it one day at a time right now, hey i got a quick question about the CX engine, what's the spec's on it? and also, i was looking for an intake for it, but it's like the filter is mounted directly on the manifold, like the intake's backwards...anybody know if they make an intake for that?

A ZC in a 6th gen would probably be a bad idea.
Why bastardize a nice car like that? Get a B18B at least.

Yeah sorry to hear that happened. I dont think you would get good results from a zc. Hey be original put an h22 in it.

Just checking. I'm with the others in that a ZC wouldn't be all that great in a 6g. I wouldn't even waste the $$$ on an intake. Save your & put a GSR motor in there

You are correct. D16Y7 minus power steering pump and depending on your area without A/C. My suggestion would be go for the B18C... H22 would be some nice power and the engine itself is fairly cheap, but from what I've heard, you have to upgrade things like suspension, brakes, and radiator/cooling system (driving up the cost)... and you'll lose A/C, if your car has it to begin with. So hard to find a 6th gen hatch these days though... I myself have been looking for a good deal on one for years, and it looks like you got a good one yourself.. so I'd hold on to that car if I was you.
