Intake systems
Recently I've been questing to find an intake system for my 1993 2.2L. Look left, right, up, and down all I've been able to find are a few at summitracing and nopi. I am just curious as to whether or not anyone has tried to attach say a '95 intake onto a second gen engine? If anyone's tried, can you lemme know how it went?
And if I can't find a decent intake, should I just go somewhere and have my own fabricated? Has anyone tried that before? Thanks for putting up with my (probably repeditive) questions, I hope to hear back soon. |

you could do that or you could make it yourself for about 100 bucks. All you need is 2 90 degree bend polished pipes , 2 adapter kits, And a filter. but you will have to remove the windsheild washer resovior email me too see the finshed product i couldnt get my pics uploaded. any other plans for your second gen cavy?

I just send an email to K&N asking the same question. I have a '91 2.2L and am on the same quest.
I met someone the other day with an older Dodge Dakota who got an intake from K&N to convert it to accept a Turbo (I think around 3.3' diameter, don't quote me though). If they already sell them I'll let you know, it's be a lot cheaper that making one (unless you have the sparts already).
