Well, we finally did it............

.......Alex n I signed up at a gym on Saturday and we did our first workout together last night. We probably spent close to an hour n a half there. We worked on arms and upper body...and I am nice n sore today . Tonight we work on legs n abdominal. He used to work out with another friend for a little bit so he was already familiar with the machines and setting them up for our use Can't wait to go back tonight. We decided we will do this 4 nites a week, then sometimes Saturday's if the rest of our crew has other plans or we get bored.

Awesome news!! Keep up the great work. You'll feel so much better when you get into a routine and start to see the results of all your hard work. Congrats on making that step!

At least that way you know that your workout did its job. If you hurt in all the places you hit in the gym, that’s a good sign, just as long as it doesn’t hurt too much!!

Tired and a little sore is perfect. Pain and exhaustion is bad. Just dont overdue it to quickly - especially when you're just starting out or getting back into it. I used to be a workoutaholic and its all I can do not to kill myself since I started up again a few weeks back.

Congratulations Kat! Keep up the good work. I know that I've been jogging recently. Just started actually. Can't do much, only about a mile and last night we went out in the freezing rain. Soaked in minutes, and freezing for hours later, but it was good to get out.

My parents business merged with a privatly owned Gym from down the road. So the past few weeks they have been prepping their building for the new gym equipment comming in. Anyways, everything is up and running, ready to go. So tonight, I spent 2 hours in the gym testing things out with a friend. So, I think we will continue to try and test them out on a regular basis.

Last night we worked on legs, back and abs.....now I hurt all over today But it's a good kind of hurt. I actually slept alot better than I normally do too. I can't wait to start seeing results Thanks for all the encouragement, folks. This is something I should have gotten into sooner, but $$ issues were always a hindering factor. BUt I guess as they say, "Better late than never."

Hey congrats on starting a workout regiment. It's always good to stay fit and healthy. I've been doing this myself.

I love working out, the best feeling in the world is being sore. i love it! the only problem is that i lift too much for my joints to handle, so my shoulder sporatically pops out of joint, but i'll be going to the doctor about that soon. keep up the good work, and remeber low weight lots of reps tones you down. high weight and low reps builds muscle.
