Question Timing Belt

While driving one day, shifting from 3 to 4 gear my car dies. I try to start it but all i hear is grinding from my starter. I have it towed and change the starter. Grinding problem solved and wants to turn over but timing belts seems to be broken i.e. dist. rotor not turning and looking through oil cap, i believe the rocker arms are not moving. Thus my questions: am i screwed? Valve bent? where to start?

I have a 94 prelude s, Had my bac. shaft back out, linking all oil out, recalled covered it and Honda was "suppose to have changed my belt as well." That was Aug. of last year. They say 12 month warranty. It has been 14. "Screw You Honda service center!"

yeah, the same thing happened to my 95 se as I was going 70 on the freeway. the rpms just dropped to 0 and the car wouldn't start again. I don't believe it's the starter because the engine still cranks. I'm getting the timing belt fixed and that should solve the engine not starting.
