crx safety

hi i'm looking into getting a crx but i'm a little concerned with the safety factor of these cars...i've heard from alot of people that they crumple like tin cans and that the seatbelts are connected to the doors instead of the car which isnt as strong plus the no airbag thing...i was just wondering that since alot of you guys make your crx's fast what do you do, if anything to make it safer....at the same time i dont wanna put a rollcage or anything like that in it and look like some wannabe racer kid ya know??...but if there's anything like aftermarket seatbelts or anything like that??..thanks in advance

in something at a higher speed, kiss your ass goodbye in a rex. try roll cages ect. safety can be upgraded just like everything else

put some racing seats in there... you can pick up a couple for about $400 somewhere online they are no name brand but then you get a 3 or 4 point harness and you are not going to slam your haed off the steering wheel when you get in an accident

How much would a good roll cage cost?

Thanks. 600 doesn't sound too bad. I don't think I'd need a full 8-point, so maybe it wouldn't be that much. I don't need a roll cage at all unless I start getting enough power to justify one. Also, this may sound random, but are the graphics messed up on anyone else's computer? On mine, none of the avatars and other graphics are working. Is it just my computer, or is something wrong with AF?

Weird. I don't know what's wrong with mine. Guess I'll have to ask Igor.
