Value of Impulse

I just bought a 1990 Impulse for $300

It needs a new power steering cable, it has a hole in the exhaust and it needs emergency brake cables.

Was it worth the price ?

I wasn't aware of any cars that had power steering driven by a cable. You've been slightly misled, I think.

Considering how rare actual 90's Impulses are anymore, yeah, you got a good deal if it only needs cables, exhaust pipe and/or whatever. A common problem with those cars is body rust. Does it have a lot of rust anywhere?

If it moves under it's own power, for $300, it's definitely a steal. The engine is a 140 HP 1.6L DOHC, worth that much by itself.
