mpfi swap, need some help

Hey everyone,

I did a multi-point swap this weekend on my 91 Civic DX auto hatch. Most of it is done but i ran into some little problems. First, my DX manifold has an egr valve where the Si manifold doesnt. The Si manifold also has an Intake Air Temperature sensor that my DX doesnt have a connector for. Should i worry about this?
Second, MPFI how-to's say to move pin C1 to B10 and C2 to B12...my Chiltons manual shows that pin B12 is for some A/C thing...WTF? I already made these changes but again, is this something i should worry about?
Lastly, im having a little trouble hooking up the vacuum lines to my new manifold...i labled all the lines when i took off the DPFI manifold but i dont know where they go to on the new manifold. Does anyone have some kind of DX to Si vacuum conversion diagram? Can i even keep my DX map sensor?
BTW, i ran a search before posting this, so i am not just being lazy.

Thanks all!

I remeber posting a couple months back and I answered a lot of your questions there, but I cant find it now.
The air temp sensor plug on the dx should be the same as teh Si, are you sure you are using the right plug? Regarding moving the wires at the ecu, if you followed the how-tos then you should be all set. Do you have a/c? For your last question about the vaccum lines, i definetly remeber posting wehre every line goes, but it was a while ago so i dont remember wtihout looking at my car. If you want to try to search again its out there somewhere, but I couldnt find it.

I had like three plugs left over...one for the egr, some other one that hangs from the back of the Si intake manifold, and another one from the DX harness...i think thats the one that everyone always has left over. My car has A/C, im kinda nervous hooking up a wire thats supposed to go to the distributor to the A/C... some of the how-tos say "some models have a wire at B12"... yeah more like most models! What are u supposed to do then? Hopefully i can figure out where the vacuum lines go.

The vacuum lines are really easy to figure out. I have seen diagrams online somewhere, maybe ill check for ya. Also, look at some pictures of peoples engines. I had a wire there too, and I have a/c. I never use my a/c anyway, so im not sure if it affected it or not. Just take it out and then you wont have to worry about it, thats what I'm gonna do when I get some time. Oh and I had that one plug leftover, all the others hooked right up.

Hey thats dope, thanks! I finally got the vaccum lines figured out. Im just need to go buy some antifreeze then ill start her up. This MPFI stuff is trickier than i thought it would be. Anyways im gonna go finish up...ill let u know how it works out.

BTW, it wasnt the Air Intake Temperature sensor, it was some other one between it and the EAVC thingy (it has a blk/yel and a blue wire with a plug hanging from it.)
