Carseat in extended cab??

I'm looking to buy a Ram 1500. I need room to safely put a carseat in the back. Does the extended cab have enough room? Does anybody currently use a carseat in the extended cab? I really do not want a quad cab. Would like to see if the extended cab is enough. Thanks.

depends on what year

if your looking at getting newer 93 (i believe the club cabs on 94 to 02 were same measurements).
i have a 98 quad cab and a friend of mine had a 96 club cab (the only difference between club and quad is that the quad is a four door)
i put our carseat in his and the back seemed to be of almost the same dimensions. we had an infant at the time and had to put it in the middle since rear facing takes a bit more space than forward facing.
but carseats do fit..as long as its the bench seat configuration rather than the side seats.
