Wait....... so your saying a b16 with intake, can beat a 5.0?
Yes a older 87-93 Gt style will run a mid or high 15 et and the newer 4.6 Gt run mid 15's in stock form usualy at the track. I have a Si and have taken a stock 88GT by a half car. A well modded 5.0 can be deadly though and the LX 5.0 is faster than the GT. As for beating a 94+ z28 with a b16a its possible if the guy cant drive but my money would be on the F body I own a domestic and I never got beat by any import but got smoked by a 6cyl(GMC Typhoon Not Stock) and a turbo 5.0 owned my faithfull Small block chevy ... all though I know there are some bad ass civics and tegs drivin around. F bodies are just fast machines but id rather drive my honda for the daily grind

Yeh i've raced the 2001 mustang gt. Even if they're not great drivers...its still a win in my book.

Sir, stop being selfish with the crack.

86-93 GT 5 Speed's should be mid high 14's.
New GT's are easy low 14's sometimes high 13's
