I`m new and got questions!!!

Howdy, 52, retired, working on my 1948 Chevrolet COE. It sets on a 1988 1 ton dually frame, runs a 455 Olds /400 auto,(mid frame) with a Dana 70(3:73 ) I want to build a 383 stoker for torque. I just bought an Allison MT42 6 speed automatic. I am trying to find information about this tranny, or a web site. Can anyone help? The Mt42 was behind a v6 diesel(GM) I think it will bolt to the 455 Olds, and i might have to change the bell housing to install it with the Chev later on!!! Thanks for any help you have to offer. I am in need of a place to buy filter, gaskets and seals.
