Re: a new engine

Unless you have hundreds and hundreds of hours and an unlimited buget......GO to your local auto wrecker BUY another v6 same as before and put it back in......basic tune up and new air filter and you are off to the races.

They asked for info, not a biased opinion.

First off what year of the V6 do you have now?

Secondly, you may have space restrictions, but you could buy an MR2 rear clip or a celica front clip w/ a 3s-gte engine (turbocharged) in it for roughly 2500 if you want a gen 2 clip (235 Hp). OR you could spend up to 4000 on a gen 3 3s-gte engine (255 Hp)

also consider the BEAMS engine. A mod'd 3s-ge engine that hits 200 Hp out of a 4 banger, right outta the box.

You could also go for a Levin clip... MANY options. Depends on your budget and whether you enjoy working on cars. OBVIOUSLY, some people dont.
