dont have my car anymore, oldsmobile achieva race edition is the new disease. EST. 245hp 16V DOHC H.O. QUAD 4, ported and polished and a 5 speed. Didnt get a chance to dyno it yet, but hopefully I can in the future. Also it has racing seats but the stock seatbelts still

www.soloracer.com is pretty cheap. That's where I bought my seats and harnesses...
They have the Corbeau 3-point dual-release retractable harness (which is what I have) for $99 each... I think they were only about $79 when I bought them, but I still think the $99 would be worth it. It's really nice having retractable harnesses in case you need something from your glove box or whatever. I know that they also carry the Schroth Autocontrol harnesses (which are also retractable), but I can't seem to find them on their site...

I found some on ebay but uh..i dont know if there all top quality but they are dirt cheap. How do you connect a 4 point harness? a friend told me you bolt it into the old seat belt position.
oh and thanks for the sites ci5ic..ha ha by the way i still have two speakers left over from the ones you sent me.

Re: Re: Seat Belt Harnesses
They're probably not top-quality if cheap on ebay. Basically 3 or 4-point harnesses are not race legal & may not even be street legal, more for looks. Harnesses usually get bolted to the front or rear seat belt mounts or the best way, connected securely to a roll cage.
If the belts are not SFI or FIA approved then they are low quality. Also "racing harnesses" must get replaced after so many years. |

Well are you geting them to race or for looks ??
If they are for race then chek with your loacal race orgs to find out what you have to have to be on the track. Not all all excepted on tracks but sparco is your best bet. If its jsut for looks i wouldnt take my standerd belts out because of safty resons just me though

Re: Seat Belt Harnesses
Well then you better buy some or 1 quality harness, not some "look I think my car's fast" belts. The 2nd choice for mounting would be to the old seat belt anchors. You can get teathers to mount them to your rear seatbelt mounting points. At least get some RCI's if your gonna be racing.
