I think its an early photo of #007, taken when it was in the hands of a previous owner.

And yes, AF.com has removed the upload capabilites from the site as far as I can tell. You will need to find your own remote host to upload and link to. I suggest Imagestation.com - it's a completely free website hosted by Sony.

I wasn't aware that Webshots allows remote linking though.

Well I can't guarantee it's #007 - but that my first thought when I saw the photo. I've gone back and forth looking at photos of #007 and this shot and the similarities are remarkable. I could of course be wrong, but I highly doubt it.

Here's a smaller version of the photo so that everyone knows what we're talking about btw:

Yes - #007 again. Those photos were taken at a race track in the pit garages in 2001. These were some of the first photos of #007 in the USA to surface on the web. I can't recall which track those images were taken at though. Maybe drewwtms can fill in the details.

While Supercars.net will work to host some photos, their servers are pathetically slow - especially during peak usage of their site. I'd recommend finding a different site to host most images, and only go to them when you really want to post the large stuff.

thanks. was the track possibly lime rock?

BTW, peloton, if you think the servers are slow, get premium, its amazing how much difference it makes, its a completely different server and it makes a HUGE difference, even with dial up

New Hampshire Int'l Speedway. We were there for an SCCA Club Race but I don't remember what year it was... 2001 maybe.

That's a nice picture of the car when it was in England. I have never seen any pictures of the car before it was here in the US.

I realize that my DL speed will improve with a Premium acct, however, that still doesn't make it a great place to host photos from as you can't expect everyone who will come across them to get a Premium acct from SC.net. You would honestly be better off hosting the images you will embed into your posts on a site which is geared specifically for free photo hosting. Then I can either teach you to make them hot linked to the larger images hosted at SC.net for those who want them, or you can simply post the link as a URL.

That's what I would do. Let me know if you want the help. It's fairly easy to make an image clickable for a larger version.
