Will I benefit from a new $300+ radiator?

I saw a Fluidine radiator at Jeg's the other day for my Civic, and one on inlinefour.com for about the same price. Would I see an increase in performance or engine reliability if I bought one, or are they just for some bling bling under the hood?

can't tell ya on that particular one, but, on the Spec I used to have I got the automatic miata radiator because it was bigger than the manual radiator and yes, it helped

it is ALWAYS good to make sure the engine can stay cool

Cooling is very important. Any dual core radiator will do and much better than a stock single core. Bling bling is just a plus w/ brands like Fluidine not to mention it being light weight. If you're just looking for better cooling a Del sol VTEC radiator is a dual core and looks like an OEM single cam one but since you're looking on IL4 you probably want to bling huh?

Yes, dual core is the way to go. I changed mine from single core to dual because my reservoir loses water very fast, and there is always the danger of overheating. Simple change in radiator, and the problem's gone. There's nothing wrong with my previous radiator--everything checked okay, but with the upgrades done, plus the change in driving (you got to love the speeds you do), the radiator just can't keep up. Now I'm looking to selling my single core radiator to any surplus shop here.

Bull monkies! I4 has some good prices on some stuff. Heck, I'm rolling down to their shop in the morning! If only you saw the bling bling sitting in front of the shop at any given time, hehe. One of the techs there owns a '97 RHD ITR! And YES, Honda did make 4-lug versions of ITR wheels, '97-'98 models were 4 lug.

Good prices??? You have to be kidding. Have you actually seen their prices? Calculate how much the JDM ITR header, heatshields, and collector is. I bought all of it and a JDM ITR cat and I only paid 4 bills. They have bad ass shit but the prices suck balls. Whooptie. A RHD ITR.

Go back and re-read my post. Nowhere did I say ALL of their prices are good, most are a bit of a rip off for what they are, but they do have some excellent prices on some stuff though. Case and point... Name another place you could get a PAIR of Power Slot rotors for $128. Yeah, most places sell them for at least $70 per rotor if not more, that works out to $140+ for a set. Sure it's only $12 savings, but every little bit helps, right? I live near their shop so I'm pretty well aquainted with their prices on stuff and what they carry and don't but can still order. This is why shopping around is important, that's how I've gotten the stuff on my car for the prices I've paid, because I shop around for the best prices I can get. My Tein SS coilovers, $850. My A'PEXi WS exhaust, $385 for full catback. I could go on, but I think you get the picture.

Also JDM items are ALWAYS going to be mad expensive in most cases. Most shops between say I4, JDMHondaparts and King Motorsports usually have pretty similar prices on Mugen, Spoon and JDM parts in general which kinda sucks since all of them are WAY high.

Anywho, with that I'm off to go give them at I4a visit at the shop for a couple items I've been meaning to pick up.
